Where it gets used

Commercial coatings go into warehouses and garages that see forklifts and spills, food spaces that need to be easy to clean, and retail or office spaces where the floor is part of the look. Each one calls for a different system and thickness.

What to tell installers

Square footage, what drives or rolls on the floor, any chemicals or heat it sees, whether you need safety lines or slip resistance, and when the space can be shut down. Many crews can work nights or weekends.

Timelines

Larger floors are often done in sections so part of the building stays open. Fast-cure systems can shorten downtime. Ask for a written schedule with each quote.

Questions

How long before I can use the floor?
It depends on the system. Many polyaspartic floors allow foot traffic the next day, while traditional epoxy often needs a few days before you park on it. Your installer will give you the cure times for the product they use.
Is there any obligation if I request quotes?
No. The request is free. You can compare what contractors say and decide whether to hire anyone.
Do you install floors?
No. EpoxyFlooring.net is a referral service. We pass your request to independent local contractors, who quote and do the work.
